Sarah Demus is a recent graduate from Mississippi State University, having earned her BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design. She is from Jackson, Mississippi, and resides in Starkville, Mississippi.
She believes in bringing a multidisciplinary approach to creative problem solving, blending fine art principles with modern design practices. Through design, Sarah aims to tell beautiful stories that serve not only an aesthetic purpose but also a functional role in communities.
Her fine art work ranges from traditional portraiture to abstract mixed media pieces, often exploring themes of self-discovery and family.
A collaborative project showcasing four print ads, designed for creatives seeking vibrant and affordable solutions. Including students, teachers, and any at-home crafter. The headline “A World Of Your Creation” suggests that with simple tools like paper and a little imagination, the possibilities can be endless.
Demonstrating how simple it is to bring a world of imagination to life, each story is cut from Astrobrights paper, aiming to inspire each consumer to start creating their own Fairytale. This campaign utilizes select colors from the Astrobrights “Charisma” packet and handmade typography inspired by medieval hand-lettering techniques and Fairytale books.
The final Fairytale will be displayed on a Billboard, strategically placed in ideal locations based on consumer viewing. These would include: highways outside city limits, locations near arts and craft stores, and heavy foot traffic areas.
Finally, this campaign will be advertised on Instagram reels featuring an animated video composed from the four print ads.
